The Indiana chapter of HIMSS is governed by the board of dedicated individuals with diverse professional experiences essential to the success of the chapter. They are passionate about improving the healthcare of all who live in, work in, and visit Indiana, through information and technology. Rob Gottlieb, President

Managing Director, VMax Solutions, LLC. Rob has held CEO roles at TeleMed 2020, a SaaS based telehealth company, and Integragen, Inc, a genomics services and novel genomics diagnostics company. He is a business technology leader with domestic and international Fortune 100 and startup experience. His experience spans health information technology, medical devices, telemedicine, genomics, and personalized medicine spaces. Rob is passionate about transforming healthcare and care delivery.

Casey Walker, President Elect

Clinical Informatics Specialist, Regulatory, Indiana University Health. Casey has over a decade of experience in informatics and information services in the healthcare industry. As a critical care nurse, clinical analyst, and clinical informaticist, she is skilled at and knowledgeable of project management principles, quality and process improvement, EMR conversions and optimization and enhancement projects, navigating organizational change, user design and experience, and healthcare legislation. In over 10 years of HIMSS involvement, Casey has served as the HIMSS Indiana social media manager, website/webmaster, president, chapter advocate, and secretary; she has been heavily involved in committees, communities, and former special interest groups; and she is familiar with HIMSS Organizational Affiliate agreements and contract management. Casey has a BS in Biology from the University of Kentucky, a BSN from the Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, and a MSN in Nursing and Health System Administration from the University of Indianapolis. Casey is passionate about leveraging information and technology to achieve optimal health and wellness across the lifespan for everyone. In her free time, she enjoys reading; running, the outdoors, and traveling with her family and friends; and is co-director of an area running club.

Jeff Moffatt, Treasurer

Healthcare Finance and Valuation, Blue & Co., LLC. Primarily focused on the analysis and development of methods for aligning hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare related entities with physician groups and other care providers. Additional healthcare industry related services provided include assisting hospital and health system C suite executives with physician integration and compliance issues; Development of value-based compensation plans for employed providers; Data analytics and business intelligence systems implementation for employed physician networks and ambulatory facilities; Physician practice financial and operational management consulting.

 

Jordan Rose, Secretary

Senior Director, Engagement & Analytics for Data Governance, Indiana’s Management & Performance Hub. Jordan has spent over 10 years working in public policy, primarily with the Indiana State Senate. As the Senate Majority’s Caucus Assistant, she worked with legislators, agency heads, legislative liaisons, and industry stakeholders to create legislation that improved healthcare quality and accessibility, particularly for those with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). During her time in the private health IT sector, she oversaw several special projects and tracked industry trends and new regulations to anticipate needs and help the executive team make responsive business decisions. Today, she works across the State of Indiana’s executive branch agencies on enterprise data governance efforts.

Don Barton

Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Major Health Partners. He has over thirty years of healthcare experience from bedside to leadership positions, serving over the following clinical departments: Purchasing and Materials Management, Sleep Services, Central Sterile, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, Cardio-Pulmonary Services, as well as Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Services. Donald previously served on the board of the Indiana Chapters of AORN (Association of Operating Room Nurses) and AHRMM (Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management).

Varun Goyal

CEO and Co-founder, Illuminate Health. Technology executive with over 16 years of IT as well as business leadership experience in designing and delivering innovative enterprise solutions. He has launched and managed global healthcare portfolios addressing needs of Health Plans, ACOs, Hospitals and Clinics.

Jared Hamilton

IT Assurance Director, Crowe LLP.  Jared has 20 years of experience in assessing, remediating, and managing cybersecurity risks, with specialization in healthcare and HIPAA compliance. He helps providers, payers, and health tech companies understand their cyber risks and assists them in meeting compliance expectations through security advisory and IT assurance services. He has acted as a CISO for a healthcare organization, holds several technical certifications, and is a regular speaker on cyber risk management issues at regional and national conferences.

Haleigh Kampman

Director of Analytics.  Haleigh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health care. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Policy & Management and holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. Haleigh has excelled in research roles, contributing to projects focusing on social and gender inequities, mental health and substance use, evaluation of EHR-based applications and information exchange. Her work experience includes leadership positions in strategy, analytics, and outcomes analysis in healthcare organizations. With her research-focused outlook, she enriches the landscape by means of publishing peer-reviewed articles, delivering presentations at conferences, teaching public health courses, and actively engaging in professional associations. These endeavors underscore her steadfast dedication to propelling the healthcare IT field forward.

Daniel Shih

Clinical Business Analyst, St. Catherine Hospital. He has 21 years of experience in Community Health Systems. Co-owned Medical staffing and consulting company for 13 years that established a dependable respiratory staffing agency in Northwest Indiana. His expertise is in consulting of respiratory workflow, salary arbitration, neonatal ventilation, adult ventilation, respiratory EMR solution builder, and respiratory retention specialists.

Muhammad Siddiqui

Chief Information Officer, Reid Health. Muhammad Siddiqui is an accomplished information technology executive with a track record of success in delivering healthcare systems and leading complex transformation projects across the US and the Middle East. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Reid Health, Mr. Siddiqui brings over 25 years of strategic technology leadership, driving new initiatives, designing corporate infrastructures, and achieving organizational goals. He is a senior technology visionary, leveraging IT as a strategic tool to transform business processes and improve decision-making, operational efficiency, profitability, and patient service through predictive analytics, big data strategy, and AI.

Jennifer Williams

Life Sciences & Public Health Director, Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE). Jennifer serves as the Public Health & Life Sciences Director at the Indiana Health Information Exchange since April 2022. Prior to this role, she spent 10 years as the Director of Operations for the Center for Biomedical Informatics at Regenstrief Institute, Inc., where she provided strategic direction, oversaw operational functions, and secured funding for scientific programs. With expertise in public health informatics and relationship management, Jennifer has led many projects, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations. She excelled in developing communication strategies, managing budgets, and facilitating collaborations with federal agencies and collaborators.

David Winn

Vice President, Parkview Health. Dave is a solution-driven healthcare IT executive with a proven track record of success by focusing on customer service, team development, relationship building, and a solid understanding of the needs of the business and consumer. Success is based upon the cultivated principles of talent development and ensuring alignment with the business’ strategic vision, capitalizing on operating savings, and cultivating a culture of accountability and service. Possesses a successful track record of leading diverse teams and exceeding performance targets while promoting a positive culture in fast-paced work environments.
